Episode 138: 2024 Christmas Card Ministry Focus: Little Light House

At MWG we have a tradition of dedicating our company Christmas card to one of the ministries we support. Rather than send out a typical corporate holiday greeting, our cards are designed to bring attention to some of the amazing organizations God has connected us with around the world. For this year's card we have selected Little Light House, which offers tuition-free Christian educational and therapeutic services for children with special needs and their families. This morning we'll talk to Crystal McCann and Jordan Little from the ministry, and we'll also be joined by special guest Kate Boerner, MWG's General Cousel who has first-hand experience with the ministry.

Episode 137: MWG Direct 4th Quarter Updates

About this time last year we had an episode with Amber about the changes coming to MWG Direct with the launch of the InPocket Plan. But with that plan put on hold for now, how has that affected MWG Direct so far this year, and what does it mean for their busy fourth quarter? Now that the 4th quarter has begun, the call volume for the entire company (and especially MWG Direct) will increase dramatically. Individual consumers often get confused about which phone number to call or which option to select in the phone tree, so it's very common for an MWG Direct customer to end up talking to someone in the wrong division. It is important for every employee to know the right questions to ask and which number or extension to transfer them to. We'll cover all of that in today's short episode!

Episode 136: Ministry Updates from Mark Taylor

We recently had a visit from one of our longtime ministry partners, Mark Taylor, who manages a multi-faceted outreach throughout India and beyond. MWG has been a significant supporter of the ministry for decades. Back in 2022, in Episode 112 of the employee podcast we covered the history of Mark's organization (and for newer employees we encourage you to go back and listen to it). One of the great things about this ministry is that it is always growing and evolving. So today we get to hear about the amazing work that God has been doing in their boarding school and how they continue to change the destinies of hundreds of children. We'll also hear about a new initiative that opens the door for their ministry to go global!
